TCU Alumni Trip to Costa Rica
Travel to Costa Rica on TCU's Alumni Association Lifelong Learning Insider's trip to Costa Rica where you can hike through a rainforest, view one of the world's most active volcanoes, unwind in a hot springs spa or just relax on the beach. Dr. Mike Slattery, TCU's Director of the Institute for Environmental Studies, will travel with the group, offering unique insights on what will be seen and experienced each day on the trip.

Stadium seating detailed
At a recent event, TCU Athletics unveiled new ticket pricing and explained the process for selecting seats at the renovated Amon G. Carter Stadium. Athletics Director Chris Del Conte also detailed the new Scholarship Seating program.

More than 800 receive diplomas
TCU awarded degrees to 834 students at its Fall Commencement, graduating students from 33 states, including Texas, and 31 foreign countries in a formal ceremony held in Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.

Brite opens new building
Brite Divinity School recently opened the 24,000-square-foot W. Oliver and Nell A. Harrison Building. The $15 million facility, located east of the seminary's Jo Ann and Wayne Moore Building, includes classrooms, seminar rooms, a technology-enhanced preaching laboratory, faculty and administrative offices, and a large area for lectures, musical events and special dining functions.

Baseball swings into action
The Frogs will open the 2012 baseball season with a February 17-19 homestand against Ole Miss. This year's season includes home games against four Big 12 opponents – Oklahoma State, Baylor, Texas Tech and Oklahoma.

Frog reaches Miss America finals
TCU broadcast journalism student Kendall Morris was among the top-10 finalists at the 2012 Miss America Pageant at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. She won the Lifestyle and Fitness competition.

Young aluma inspires students
After graduating from TCU, Kelsie Johnson '10 went to work for Teach for America at Port Houston Elementary where her second grade class has set a goal for everyone to graduate from a four-year college. They are getting added inspiration thanks to donations from fellow TCU alumni and friends who have sent her Frog-emblazoned t-shirts, pencils, and stickers.
